Work

Here’s a bit of this and that. Enjoy!

Tee/album cover for friends’ band, Scum of the Earth (check them out on Facebook and ReverbNation!). You can read about the process of this one here: http://theshortshift.com/the-ville-has-eyes/

An article I wrote for Chef Walter Staib, which appeared in Chef Magazine. Look, ma, I'm a ghost writer! (click to embiggen)

I’m a big fan movie posters, and I occasionally think up some fun designs in different styles for movies I’m watching. Below are a few for The Prestige, Scott Pilgrim vs The World and Slammin’ Salmon.

A few posters I put together for The Florida Book Store at the University of Florida. The collateral sent from our corporate office was a bit childish and promised something that the really wasn’t possible or fair, to the students or the store (“WE’LL BUY YOUR USED TEXTBOOKS FOR TONS OF MONEY!”), so I put together a few posters that went straight to the heart of what text-buyback on college campuses is all about: getting a bit of money at the end of the semester to help out with the last little bit of whatever (a nice meals away from campus dining, some help with rent, some money to ride back home on).

In retrospect, the top copy should have been more assertive and not a (rhetorical) question.

Treat yourself to not eating a chunk of sodium.

Again, in retrospect, I would drop the interogative and just go with "We can help with this" message.

A bit more movie-inspired design, this time for The Wolfman (2010); poster/package design.
